Command Transmission & Verification Operations

 

There were no command operations in support of Voyager 1 during the period.

 

There were no command operations in support of Voyager 2 during the period.

 

Sequence Generation Operations

 

Complete sequence development of CCSL A090.

 

Data Return Operations

 

Voyager 1 Data Processing and Operations:

 

There were 47.1 hours of DSN scheduled support for Voyager 1 of which 45.0 hours were large aperture coverage. One schedule support change made on 12/09 [DOY 343] released 2.1 hours of array DSS-24/25 support.  The total actual support for the period was 45.0 hours of which 45.0 hours were large aperture coverage. 

 

There was one significant outage of 1.0 hours on 12/12 [DOY 346] due to a Red antenna at DSS-63 [DR M107609].

 

Science instrument performance was nominal for all activities during this period.  One frame of GS-4 data was recorded this week.  A second frame of GS-4 data was recorded on December 8.  The third frame of GS-4 data was recorded on December 12.  The EDR backlog is 2 days.

 

Voyager 2 Data Processing and Operations:

 

There were 50.3 hours of DSN scheduled support for Voyager 2 of which 44.7 hours were large aperture coverage. One schedule support change made on 12/09 [DOY 343] added 4.2 hours of DSS-43 support.  The total actual support for the period was 54.5 hours of which 48.9 hours were large aperture coverage.  There were no significant outages during the period.

 

 

Science instrument performance was nominal for all activities during this period.

 

The EDR backlog is 2 days.

 

Flight System Performance

 

Voyager 1 performance was nominal during this report period.

 

Voyager 2 performance was nominal during this report period.  Activities included X-Band high power, and full memory readouts of the AACS/FDS/CCS on 12/9 (DOY 344); PMPCAL on 12/10 (DOY 344); and a MAGROL followed by gyros off and X-Band low power on 12/12 (DOY 347).
